Don't know how effective this would be, but try this in the addressbar:
Code: Select all
!subst O: "C:\path\to\onedrive\local\folder"
Use a free drive letter in place of O, and adjust the dummy path to onedrive.

The script runs a command prompt with an error UNC paths are not supported ?

I don't have onedrive installed and can't say if it's local path is special. Did you use a local folder path on the command?

The command prompt opened to the skydrive folder; is there more you want to elaborate on with regards to this script, or is this it ? I was hoping for a drive icon that I can place within the categories or within my drive to access at anytime with all of my skydrive folders etc.

Another choice is use a program like BoxCryptor, which gives you client-side encryption for many cloud services.

What is the advantage of having OneDrive as a "pseudo drive" instead of just a folder that gets synced by their app. I have both OneDrive and GoogleDrive folders that get regularly synced. (This is a large part of my "backup" system.) It works well except for GoogleDrive crashing regularly.
