Shortcuts

Ok, so I've seen you've changed some shortcuts here & there, I think it was so it doesn't get "mixed up" with the menu shortcuts (shortcuts/accelerators, you got the point right?)

Well, /me do not like this! (so much I post in Bug Reports)
My main concern is, I used to Ctrl+F/Alt+T to select my template, and Alt+F to search. But that doesn't work anymore, gotta do Alt+P for Templates now, and I don't like it cause it's a 2 hands thing for me :( (same for Ctrl+F9, well no that one can be a 1 hand thing but on my other hand, my mouse hand, and I don't like it either.. yeah I can be a PITA I Know )
Besides, Alt+I (which is now for Find Now) doesn't do nothing cause it's also used for "Invert" :? (Yes, I know F3 does that one too, but I'm used too Alt+F )

For "Find Now" I'd suggest to use "N" (as in Now), but unfortunately for "Templates" I'm screwed it seems, so question: would I be able to set those kinda things too with your CKS interface?? Cause I'd like that very much, as I don' care to have Alt+T for Tools menu

PS: Can you make it so we'd see the menus accelerators underlined (I mean even when not holding Alt) ? Woudl make sense, since they're now available all the time....

Oh, I hope all shortcut keys can/will be redefineable, cause like you, there are a few I'd like to change/add myself.

I think that XY will be *complete* when user defineable keys is emplemented. (Well, almost. There are a few other..... )

Yeah... but shortcuts & accelerators (for menus/buttons/etc) aren't really the same, so.... Don?

Accelerators are simply defined by setting the caption of a button/label. It's a "&" in front of the character that defines this character as accelerator.
If I let you set the captions, then we'd be already beginning another big job: localization! This is one of my plans (... hollow laughing ... ), of course: a [language].ini that provides all text strings used in the app. Technically rather easy to do. Some beautiful day...

I believe this is a windows thing...

Control Panel > Display > Appearance > Effects
Then just make sure the following is unticked: Hide underlined letters for keyboard navigation until I press the Alt key.

Oh right, thanks! Forgot about that cause I had that checked, and yet a few apps had their accelerators underlined even in menus.... (but I guess that's because they draw them on their own)
