How do I set Location in Name & Location to current tab

Somehow I changed this. In Find on the Name & Location tab I used to have it set so that it would search the currently active folders in the tab I have selected. Now it stays on the last searched folder and I have to manually set the Location every time which is a pain.

Tick "Auto Sync" on the Name & Location tab.

How can I get it to default to saving this setting? Every time I reboot my computer it defaults to C:\ with no Auto Sync checked. This only occurs on this one installation. All my other ones keep Auto Sync checked. I've compared the Configuration in Search and it's exactly the same.

Run a search with Auto Sync checked, then do File | Save Settings.
