xyplorer "forgot" my registration

I have no idea how exactly it happened, all I know is that I started and closed XY a lot, since I was trying to get rid of the
additional tab (which I never did), instead I got rid of my registration information somehow. Since I then just saw the "evaluation time expired" thingy and didn't know how to register from there (is that even possible?), I had to remove and reinstall xy, which unfortunately uninstalled my .ini-settings-file with it.
No idea how this happened, as I said. Just thought you might want to know about it so, now you do

If you didn't just ignore this
bye

Hmmm, I use my own (registered!

) version of TrackerV3/XYplorer for 2396 days in a tight row now ("dc" in the INI) and I never ever lost my reg info. I wonder how you did this...
Concerning the lost .ini-settings-file. Sorry about it! I already said it somewhere else: It's a good idea for everybody to simply (regularly)
backup the INI file with your reg-info and your important settings. Just in case... you may never actually need the backup, but who knows... and it's so easy to do it. There's a
special command for it:
Code: Select all
+ Menu File/Configuration File: added command "Save Copy of
Configuration As...". Saves a copy of the current configuration
without making it the current configuration (as opposed to "Save
Configuration As...").

One quick wish. Is it possible to have the "Save Copy of Configuration As..." defaulted to the present date?? Just like ctrl+shift+D does it.
