Can you create a new junction in XYplorer?

I have installed Windows 7 (64b) on a new SolidStateDrive C:\. I also have a datadrive, E:\. I relocated my document and download folder to E:\.

Now I have no visibility under User of documents or downloads in XYPlorer. The My Documents junction still points to the old C:\Users\....\Documents folder that now no longer exists. Windows explorer, however, does correctly show now relocated documents and download folders.

Is there a way to repair/edit the junctions that XYplorer sees under the current user?

How did you relocate documents and downloads to E:\?

I used windows properties to relocate documents and downloads. i.e. "properties->location(tab)->enter "e:\user\documents"->Move.

Sounds weird. First thought: Reboot Windows.

If you mean restart windows, I've done that. If there is no way to "edit" junctions either in Windows or XYplorer then I'll have to try the following:

1. I've been doing all my re-installs from an admin account. I will soon create a standard user account for my daily usage. Hopefully, XYplorer will have a fresh, nice presentation when I do that. I will still have to redirect the document & download folder in that new account to the E:\user\documents and E:\user\downloads. If it behaves the same as before, the respective user document and download folders will disappear from XYplorer presentation leaving only the junction misdirected junction. If however, it behaves correctly, I will be satisfied.

2. I can always put some shortcuts in the catalog pane and work it from there. And....try to ignore the faulty user presentation.

3. Maybe I should uninstall, then reinstall XYplorer. Is there anything I can watch for to make sure it is a totally, completely clean uninstall? e.g. registry entries to delete? leftover files somewhere that don't get deleted on uninstall?

Not necessary, there are no registry entries. XY is totally portable and stealth.
