Custom Delete - would work like 'custom copy'

I don't know if this has been suggested before.

Just as an idea for consideration, a Custom Delete module of settings could be useful for XYplorer.

The Custom Delete would have all sorts of interesting features to enable/disable and could include full file and folder secure wiping. Yes I know many standalone recycle bin wiping apps exist (I personally use Hardwipe)

But back on topic, If the Custom Delete is enabled then upon a user deleting a file/folder, then XY's own delete-confirm dialog would display (instead of Windows).

All sorts of interesting Deletion based options could be added to this. It would be a mirror of the existing Custom Copy feature and would sit in the same settings location (Configuration>File operations)

Related different topic here: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic. ... 1&start=15

feedback is welcome :)

I have never had the need for anything special when deleting items.
Delete - Are you sure - Yes, period.
What other features do you have in mind?
Occasionally (once in a year) when I delete hundreds of thousands of files I had to wait for few seconds, that's all. Somewhere I read about making the delete operation in its own thread/process like the Copy/Move to combat such scenarios, but I find it almost useless as effort.
Wiping is already there, available. You don't wipe nearly as often as just deleting items.
