Manual rename on copy over same filename

Hi. I am new here and with the software and I have a question.
I've been searching through the site and the forum and I cant find the answer. Here it is:

Is there an option to let XYplorer ask for a new file name during a copy or move action when a file with the same name already exists?
I've worked with Dolphin in KDE/Linux for quite some time and that software had that functionality. I can't find that functionality in any other software accept for Directory Opus which I find pretty expensive.

Maybe I missed it, or should I put it on under the 'Wishes' topics?

Hi and welcome to the XY forums!

It's maybe not quite as obvious as it could be -but- have you looked at "File Operations">"Custom Copy" in the Config?

And specifically via the "Configure" button for that option...take a look and see if that helps, ok?

Hi and welcome,

no, there is no manual rename in case of collision. Nobody ever asked for it. Which surprises me somewhat. It seems like a natural thing to add. I put it on my list.

Not to push, how long do I have to wait (aproxematly) before I can expect it in a new version?
Man, I'm exited...

No problem. I'm probably going to buy the lifetime licence in about two to three month's, when I have the money. For now I'm using the free version.
Thanx.
