Selectable/smaller font option for thumbnail captions?

Before I started this thread, I checked old posts...and found that back in Jan (when I was new to XY), I had mentioned a variation of this...the issue is that when one uses 54x54 thumbs, a size of 1600x1200 shows as 600x1200 with only half of the last 0 in 1200...is there a font and size that would be a bit smaller that would fit? If so, could there be a way to select that? I've seen on some websites some REALLY tiny fonts!

hmm.. I think the "size label" uses the same font as the List, Tree, etc so so can already change it, but it will not affect only that font size.
What you could do is, if you have a mouse wheel, hold ctrl and scroll up to get it smaller, and when you're done hold Ctrl & scroll down to get it back.

Yes, the "size label" does use the "list, tree, etc" font...I tried a few other combinations to see what happens...and found that using, for example, 'Arial Narrow - 8pt' made the size caption work for 54x54 :), but then the rest of the text in XY window is TOO small to be easily readable, at least by my middle-aged ayes! :(

That's why I'd suggest making the caption text as an isolated/separate choice within the font sub-menu, so I could have this smaller font for it but MS Sans Serif 8pt, or whatever, for rest.

Also found that MS Serif in 8pt or less also works for 54x54 captions but again is bit too small/condensed for rest of window...however, even using this font in 6pt size is still too large for any smaller thumbs, like 40x40.
