Can I scale the icons of individual planes in XY ? At present when you scale the icons, all the icons in all planes scale.

Hi CookieMonster,
I'm a newbie, so I'm not sure I understand your question...
Do you mean you want different sized icons in the left and right panes?
I do this by right-clicking the Thumbs button on the toolbar and choosing the needed size.
You could make custom buttons for the different view sizes if you wanted...

There is another way and that is the way I prefer to use. You can use the scroll wheel on the mouse with the CTRL key to scale the icons larger or smaller, the problem; all the icons in all the panes get larger instead of just the active pane.
The method you described worked, I prefer to use the above method

On my system they don't get bigger/smaller... Only the captions do.
However I *did* just realize that Ctrl+Shift+Wheel up/down causes the line-spacing to change... That's pretty cool!
EIDT: Interestingly, scrolling font-size affects both panes + the tree, but scolling line-spacing affects either the panes (both) or the tree, but not both...

Yes, I originally did this because also in Explorer line spacing in tree and list is different. I later realized that I probably emulated a Windows bug (or at least negligence) there.
Note that in Tree, Alt+Shift+Wheel alters the
node indent!
