Is it possible to configure XYP to open a folder in a new tab by left-double clicking in it's name in the list?

Hold SHIFT while dbl-clicking it.

Don't forget that you can also Middle-Click on a folder to open it in a new tab (though it's harder with a touchpad obviously).
