Inconsistent background color on tabs = intended or not?

From another thread, I finally got around to setting my background color for Open Tabs from the default...
Which jacky (I believe) suggested elsewhere that maybe this should be different from Other Tabs as default, like maybe a bit darker gray?
And...when one goes into color picker for background, the upper left reddish one is shown as selected instead of whatever gray it actually is...minor item and not the real issue...
Anyway, I noticed that my new color applies to the tabs as expected and also to tabs within Config options, but not to tabs on the Info Panel...so...is this intentional or not? As having that color apply to ANY open tab would make spotting it just a tad easier... Thanks!
Update:Not sure what sequence I did after posting this but the background color now does appear on the Info Panel! It didn't do so at first...humm.
2nd update:Seems that if Info Panel is hidden when tab color is changed, then it doesn't get set when IP is shown again..
