Automatically switching focus from address bar to list?

Am I the only one who would like the list to become focused after entering a new location in the address bar (i.e. not having to press f6 to activate the list)?

I wouldn't mind such an option . . . not sure which option I'd use, myself. Some times that's convenient while others I'm not entirely sure where I'm going so I type in a folder at a time. In that case, the current behavior is rather handy.
