Hi,

The line numbers column doesn't autosize, so when you have more then 9999 files in a directory, you don't see the line numbers fully after that number. Can the list be made that you can also resize the line numbers column, and that this column also can auto resize?

Already there! Menu View/Show Columns/Set Line Number Column Width (or you can pop it up by right-clicking on the "Name" column-header), and enter the number of digits to display.

I whas right-clicking the line number column, afcourse i couldn't see that option there ;-). I did set it to 5, it displays all fine now. After i cleaned only one folder i can set it back to 4 ;-). Anyway, thanks for letting me know that it already was there and where :-)

* List | Details View: Made the line number column dark grey on light grey

Looks quite bad if you use bright text on dark background as interface colors (if I would use black on white I would like it though).

I can make the colors customizable. They are currently derived from the "button face" color which is a light grey in Windows by default.

If it isn't too much work, that would be great. Maybe just as an INI tweak because I think there are only very few users that have such a "bright on dark" color configuration.

I think so, too, because most humans would turn blind after a few hours staring on "bright on dark"...

Haha, yes, it's not for everyone. But a lot of coders use such color schemes for their text editors because bright backgrounds are not really easy on your eyes.

PLEASE do so! With this change, line nbrs have become very hard for me to see with my vision issues! I understand the concept of making this col be different than others, but I need to do so in a way that I can still use the data, ok? Thanks!!

BTW, I use text color #000000 with "Selected row" of #EEEEEE and that I can see ok, so it's just the gray on gray that is lousy.

I'd like to add my vote for being able to choose the colour. I'd use black straight away, but others may wish to use alternatives ones.

Is here anybody who likes the default colors?

It's like in any text-editor so i'm ok with it. (Although i have to admit that the color is adjustable in UltraEdit )
