Thanks again serendipity, Sorry I totally missed that you had said tableheight in the "ini" file not the "script file" and there is only one tableheight entry in the ini. So, success

OK sorry, hold up. I thought something wasn't quite right about it. Changing tableheight has brought the options into view but the windows is still the same size and now less of the table area is viewable. I want to
increase the default window height
so I still get a good viewable area and options are visible.
With the default settings, when I open DiskManager the window looks like image1. I then grab the top or bottom of the window and drag to resize (increase) the height until it looks like image2. How can I make that the default?

Well, Screenwidth and Screenheight control the window dimension. Default is 75% get it up to 85% maybe.

Ah fantastic!! Altering a combination of both tableheight and screenheight has it sorted. Thanks so much for your patience
EDIT: I notice the script changes the XY sort order to size descending. Is there some way for the sort order to be restored when the script is closed (terminated)?

Version 4.2:
1) Added close to Go menu.
2) When DiskManager closes, it restores sort setting.

Hope this thread is still viable!
Beginning with the upgrade to 12.40 have discovered to my ineffable dismay that DiskManager is no longer functioning on my machine. Is anyone else exhibiting the same thing? This script/utility is of considerable value to me but have not a clue as to what has gone awry.
Addendum: While learning the syntax for CFI it crossed my mind that this may be one of the suspects.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks Aurumdigitus, I am investigating this issue. Since I havent followed betas closely i dont know what is causing this. I have asked Don if he has any clues.
Meanwhile if anyone could provide me with recent betas after 12.30.100 that would be useful in tracking the bug down.
Thanks.

Phew! TheQwerty to my rescue. He spotted the Regexp change made recently and fixed my script.
Thanks a bunch to him!
So here's the latest version which should work with v12.40.
I've been very busy these days and hence asked TheQwerty to go through my script and make improvements or changes if necessary.
Thanks to him again!

Yes - it lives again. My heart sings.
Thanks of inestimable volume to TheQwerty for his differential diagnosis and subsequent repair. And of course to serendipity for the labor he put into the coding.
To those who have not tried this script you have no idea of what you are missing out on. It is virtually a separate utility unto itself.
What other software has a coterie of followers with such
dedication?

Hi serendipity,

just found that script diamond today
Well, don't know what to say.
Hmm, I guess I'll have some looks at the code and take some lessons.
Cheers,
Filehero

Well, I really wonder why that haven't become internal logic by now.
