I will leave it as it is for now. It's time for 10.70.

It's annoying tabsets getting changed on exit. Please make tabs & tabsets different in save settings on exit config. I don't want tabsets to change on changing tabs and getting saved on exit...I prefer manually changing the tabsets..... :roll:

Also it would be nice to have mru submenu in the main tabsets menu...

Also the tabsets are lost in the same session if the they are unselected from the Remember list config.

1. Yes, agreed.
2. Maybe later. Let's see what feedback I get on 10.70 (official release of tabsets).

I've read this thread and have a hard time understanding the posts. I'm a new user evaluating XY to potentially replace freecommander. I have 10 tabs on freecommander that I use quite often, so I have both panes setup with those 10 tabs each (e.g., pane 1 has tab1, tab2, tab3, etc. and pane 2 has the same tab1, tab2, tab3, etc.). Every time I start freecommander, it pulls up both panes with each of those tabs. After working in it and switching tabs, when I close it down and restart, the original 10 tabs are brought up again.

I cannot see how to do this in XY. Every time I setup the 10 tabs on both panes and close, even when Save settings on exit is checked, and even when I save a tabset, when I restart XY, none of my 10 tabs are showing. Additionally, when I Open the saved tabset, the 10 tabs also do not show.

What am I doing wrong? Or can XY really not save the 10 tabs and open them at startup as this thread implies? Thanks.

I'd enable the following settings:
- Configuration > Startup & Exit > Save settings on exit;
- Configuration > Startup & Exit > Remember most-recently-used lists;
- Configuration > Startup & Exit > Remember most-recently-used lists > Apply to > Tabs and Tabsets.

Does that work for you?

Yes, that solved the problem. Thank you.
