Sure but this shouldn't lead to a script error.
Perhaps you can catch this error, show an "access denied" message dialog and fall back to the previous folder afterwards.

Oh, i thought you expected to see the file list. Will see if i can do something.

When trying to RESET "hide items less than" and "highlight size between" values to "0" I obviously pressed RESET button - then Disk Manager closed, gave closing status and when called again, those values were still non-zero.
-is it easy to implement an easy way to select colors to apply to the threshold values? Highlighting green makes it difficult to see at my CRT monitor.

Script is great - I remember the times when I spent 3-4 weeks to get a CD burning session ready for the job, being folder/file sizes the worst part to handle.

Wait. Something is wrong:

"Hide items less than" is set to 90 MB.
"Highlight size (%)" is set to 20/100.
My TEMP (NOT the "sysTemp/TMP", just a common one) folder is shown as 93.98 MB - and highlighted when it should not! (it's 5,99%). Above folder is "Docs and Setts" having 265.22 MB, 16,92% - correctly NOT highlighted, and following folders are highlighted as expected too (larger than 20%).
Setting "hide items" to zero still shows highlight on that folder.
Have a screenshot, if needed I can upload.

Ooops, even worse: another folder had highlighted values between 3.15-8.62%, still using above 20/100 threshold. And yes, I saw the "I changed the logic, anything in between those values will be highlighted. Thats why its not called threshold anymore." notice. Just consider the terms on the interface by themselves as a first time user.
Just an idea to keep stuff more organized: can scripters agree in creating their .ini out of the main root/default folders of XY? Something like ".\INIs", ".\Custom", ".\User" perhaps?, having a reminder on top of the "Scripts Exchange", for instance "Please set INIs to '.\INIs' folder"?

Huh... one last thing... can the Settings section "Folders ONLY, etc..." stay visible when resizing window height?

I've been busy lately, but quickly.

1) Highlight value can be changed. See ini file for details.

2) Regarding highlight and hide thing, Do you get these problems in specific folders (Temp, Docs & sett) or any folder? I use it myself but have not seen this. Will check when i find time.
3) Ini path: You can change it in the script. Look for "$selfpath" on line #37 and change it accordingly. Eg: If you set $selfpath=C: then you will get C:\DiskManager.ini
4) Will change the spelling, thanks.

Hi serendipity, What a fabulous script I'm not sure the $screenwidth and $screenheight are what I'm after - I'm not even sure what I should change the values to (increase/decrease) but I would just like to increase the default window height so that, when Disk Manager opens, the options at the bottom are immediately visible and I don't have to scroll or resize the window. My laptop screen size is 1366x768.

Image 1 is the default view. Image 2 is what I would like to achieve.

In the Diskmanager.ini file reduce the table height until everything is visible.

All instances as long as you dont delete the ini file, in which case it reverts to default setting.
