However, after reading the latest comments, I've got to say that I think I really like "Joined" the best of everything that's been mentioned, as it really seems (to me) to convey what's happening (and none of the others really resonate with me).
Just my little contribution...
My problem with join was that "Open Catalog to Join" or "Join the Catalog" is a bit ambiguous because of the usage "Join the Army" where the Army is not the thing that is joined/included into some bigger thing but vice versa.
Also "Joined Catalog" has the same problem as "Combined Catalog" or "Merged Catalog" in that it rather refers to the result of the joining than to the thing that has been joined to another thing.

Didn't get to test it yet, but it sounds promising. Will check soon and keep you posted.
So, what does the big boss say? (Tell him, I offer attractive Site Licenses...)

Well, still hadn't time to neither test it nor ask my boss, and - regarding that it's a big company - even after asking, don't expect a quick answer.
One point I was missing in the process of implementing this: Will there be a way to force-load some catalogs by means of admin.ini in the future?
But let me test the merging first, before I come up with new wishes...

That would be no problem.
