I don't recall doing that - are you sure it was me?

It might have been the one from this old post:
http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic. ... 941#p73941
That's the only thing close in my attachment list.
However, that was only for Win 7 Pro SP 1 x64 - it's the same machine but it went through a fresh install late last year.
Curiously enough comparing the list I just posted and that one reveals that now 287-290 are "[reserved]" changing the IDs for the last 6 items. Not sure if that signifies a difference in how XY generates the list or something that changed on my system.
EDIT: There's also the variety of scripts over here:
http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7423
But they were really for enumerating the properties of specific files - not all that the system knows.

1. Fixed
2. Still exists. Wiht show thumbnails off, it basically ignores the tile sizes and continues to draw the icons at a set size. I tried the values 256, 512 and even 1 and 2.

Yep, intended.

Yes, probably. So my memory was too optimistic. I know for sure that I had compiled such a file myself but it's also mysteriously lost...

I also had a web link to such a list but the link is dead now. Conspiracy...

Hi Don,
the new Tiles are a phantastic evolution!
As for ....

I hope you're using Win8's
FileHistory! It's the easiest working versioning/backup solution I've ever set up (of course, I do have a 1:1 copy ....). Just checked: currently I have 414 backups of XY's data folder.
Now

Hi Don,
could it be that introducing larger tiles made the "MyPC"-location significantly less compact and the
Vol Serial meta info go away?

Hi Marco,

nope, the "expanded" look is gone with a fresh instance. Hence, it must be a simple setting I've overlooked or forgotten.

Got it. It's even two things:
a) Configuration | Thumbnails | Show thumbnails in tiles views
b) Show Photo Data
Both are of course nonsense in drives view. I'll check if I can handle this...

Thanks for reverting the previous normal spacing.
Did you expect
Vol Serials co-return with 14.60.0212 (it isn't over here)?
