I only discovered XYplorer a couple of years ago.

v16.70 brings a lovely amalgamation of interesting and useful features!

Do wish however there was some cola to go along with that pizza instead of just coffee.

I get hungry just looking at that pizza slice, but I'm on a restricted diet. Anyway, XYplorer is a great file manager, no matter how you slice it!

Yessss, folder size caching! Great, thanks. Now I use Show folder sizes permanently and can navigate smoothly in the contents of my biggest folders sorted by size.

Both thumbs up for the "Show Folder Sizes" pizza. When juggling folders around between multiple drives, it comes in very handy

Folder Size Caching: Added a tweak to exclude specific locations,
separated by "|", from Folder Size Caching.

:appl: :appl:

Code: Select all

* Folder Size Caching: Now the tilde (~) is only shown in front of the
values that have actually been read from cache. So when you refresh any
values using "View | Calculate Folder Sizes" (Shift+F5) the tildes will
      disappear for those values.

I just wanted to say thanks a second time for folder caching and the two tweaks for it (exclusions for caching and exclusions for calculating)!

Now it's a fire and forget setting and in all places I get exactly what I need. Good job

Well... it seems to be not exactly a "new" feature but I'd like to say thanks anyway: gettokenindex saved my bacon today as I needed a custom way to count ~19k entries. Built a script in less than 20 min, took seconds to process the input. Cheers!

Paste and Go from 16.70 has become a total habit. Makes me happy every time I use it.

Me likes Paste and go as well (and the ability to paste a part of a file / folder name to jump right to it! Great if you have a hundred of KBxxxx.msu / .cab files in a folder and want to get to a specific one immediately).

Another thank you for posting official release notes in the beta thread as well! I'm keeping my own changelog for XY and this makes it much more convenient to update it.

v16.70.0011 - 2016-05-15 17:02
* Floating Preview: Now the last previewed image stays totally visible and
functional (you can zoom in/out etc) in the Floating Preview after you
deselect the previewed file and/or navigate away from its location.
I just LOOOVE this feature. This together with the feature that allows the floating preview to stay previewing the last previewable file is just awesome. I actually wanted to request this for a long time but somehow I was afraid of it being rejected. Now that it's here, it's just freaking sweet~

I thank for this :)

Again a new 'thank you!' for an old feature... well... a new usage for an old feature!
Just discovered I can build a paper folder out of multi location files just to find dupes among them. Tremendous time saving feature.

The "Edit Clipboard" is a nice feature but it's only showing me the most recent item. :|
