Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XYplorer goes twinBASIC +++
Copy/Paste keeps crashing TB version 27.90.0009.
Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XYplorer goes twinBASIC +++
ok, thanks, I thought this thread was for the TB version.
Edit: Not sure it should be in that thread as there's no error message, just a sudden crash.

Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XYplorer goes twinBASIC +++
@sl23: I think that currently it is still OK to report x64-issues either here, or in separate threads. However, Don has recently suggested that separate threads with a clear indication in subject that it is about x64 are welcome. This is probably what XYfan wanted to suggest (thinking of a separate thread, something like "x64: Crashing at Copy/Paste"). But I am sure that Don will also not disregard your original post here in this thread (although most probably more details about your case would be welcome, which would go better in a separate thread). For instance, I recently started to create separate "x64:"-threads for issues I find in the x64 version.
P.S. Relevant to everyone here: Don's recent pledge is that all error reporters fill in the Location field in their profiles. Important: NOT with your physical location on the planet, but with info about the Windows version(s) you are using and DPI/scaling factor of your monitor(s). Thanks!

Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XYplorer goes twinBASIC +++
I don't get a crash, just the error message which if I ignore/cancel, the paste proceeds as usual. But it looks like the 'cause' may be the same.
Hopefully we have given Don enough info to fix it.

.
Indeed yes - and I will be careful to put x64 at the beginning of all my posts on x64.
Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XYplorer goes twinBASIC +++
Ok thank you. I will do that if I don't get a reply. I probably need to add some more info, though not a lot I can say about it. It hasn't happened since yesterday, so it may just be a windows issue or something. I'll make a new post should it happen again.

Thanks for reinforcing my pledge. As nobody has reacted (again!), I will have to prioritise now. Posts containing that information in the profile will be processed first.Borut wrote: ↑16 Jul 2025 15:02 P.S. Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XYplorer goes twinBASIC +++
Just to say Don that I like the way you took with the 2 branches :
1) Keep the 32bit branch opened, just to remove bugs if any, no new features.
2) Start a 64bit branch, adding new features only in the 64bit branch.
Not all developers would end the 32bit branch so gracefully, many just stop it brutally, leaving the remaining bugs in its last release.
So bravo for the way you planned this.
