A problem with D&D to BeyondCompare (BC)...

Have not tried with v15.20.0105 - the following is my experience with 15.20.0106, under Win7 and with BC v3.3.13, when home view, or folder compare view is visible in BC.

When "Use standard shell drag and drop" is checked, then dragging a folder from XY to BeyondCompare results in BeyondCompare reporting the error "File not found", together with the name of the dropped folder. This happens only when dragging from the tree! When dragging a folder from the list, everything is as expected.

When "Use standard shell drag and drop" is NOT checked, then also everything is as expected.

Hello there, it's been a while =)

PotPlayer x64 worked just fine for me with win8.1 (and win7), until I upgraded to winX, then drag 'n drop stopped working.
Well, to be fair, I had problems with dragging from chrome DL bar, but none from explorer.
Can't remember if that was solved just before the upgrade.

As a workaround, I installed potplayer x86, which seems to work just fine with XYplorer.

I may be wrong but I don't think anybody needs 64-bit on a videoplayer anyway.
Maybe with 4k videos, dunno. I definitely don't need it, so it will stay that way for a while, and I'll check in a few months/years if Don fixed this issue.

Thanks everyone for the hint to bitness relationship, which I wouldn't have thought by myself !
