My ISP had a bad day, unfortunately...
My Virtual Win7 now does not see any files on my XP system, nor does it recognize any of my DVD or USB drives. Currently my only way to share files is to upload them in XP and download them in Win7. :)

Is the only way to share files "Shared Folders" thing, or can I use an DVD or USB drive somehow?
Folder Sharing is the sole way to exchange files between guest and host. Section 4.7 of the User Manual lists the necessary steps, but in a nutshell:
- in VirtualBox: Settings > Shared Folders > click the folder icon with the green plus to define one or more shared folders;
- in the guest: Windows Explorer > Tools > Map network drive > \\vboxsvr\sharename
I found only a BETA driver for my graphic card (Grafik Geforce 6100 Shared):
Nvidia GeForce 181.71 Beta 64 Bit (110 MB)
Does anybody happen to know if this is really the latest?
You only need a NVidia driver if you're going to install Windows 7 on your computer; VirtualBox emulates different hardware. The Guest Additions contain the necessary drivers. As you found, Windows Aero is not supported by VirtualBox.

I have to install VB6 from CDs. Is it correct that I now have to make ISOs from all install CDs and then connect them as CD/DVD devices in vbox?

Your choice: if you expect to use a particular disc more than once, the increased speed and convenience of ISO's is probably worth it. Alternatively you can simply attach the physical DVD drive in your computer to the guest. You can attach either ISO's or the physical drive to a running guest by clicking the CD-ROM icon in the bottom right corner of the window.

Ah, that works! I had understood you before that Shared folders is the only way to exchange files. That's easy now...

Alright, I finalized my Win7 Pro 64 test suite to utter perfection. :D :D :D
Everything works, now I only have to find the bug (I mean error 10, the bug that made this long and costy step necessary)... :twisted:

A BIG THANKS goes to nas8e9 who pretty much carried through the process!

You're welcome. Here's hoping it will pay dividends beyond the error 10 issue!
