Thanks jupe for taking the time to explain how to get that setting. I should first decide whether I want to go the "queue" route. I wasn't originally planning on it.

Hi jupe, I've been meaning to follow-up on our last posts. I have it working like your setup with toast and queue. I also now have those specific XYplorer settings that you previously explained how to get. Which means I have the option now to hide XYplorer's icon, but that seems to work only with using toast and queue.
So it appears that the 2 choices that I have are (and they apply to 3 Windows 10 Pro x64 computers in the household):
1.) Have the balloon style tray tips but I'd have to live with XYplorer's icon visible on the taskbar since it will not hide. or
2.) Have the toast style notifications but the XY icon does hide itself from the taskbar to the hidden area where I have most other icons.
