ohhh, a beta. i was wondering when the next official release might be out.

ok, i found out myself. judging by your release history that i just looked up, I'm guessing it should be out any time from mid feb to march 1. that's not long. i can wait!

@ckp: In the more than 12 years I've been using XY so far, I have always updated to the latest beta release and in TWO instances I had to roll back because of a newly introduced bug in those releases (out of probably well over 3'500 beta releases = less than 0.06%). I might have to add that I didn't lose any data in either case.
So, back up your XY, update and if something goes wrong just do a roll back.

@ckp, Also, using the beta that fixes your particular problem is helpful for both you and Don to identify any remaining issues or side-effects now, rather than later in a released version. Especially with your case, very few other users, if any, are likely to be dealing with that situation, so it's really in your hands alone to thoroughly test out the change.

Indeed! I publish beta versions exactly to enable that exchange.

@jerry, i don't think this is so rare actually, because I see this problem with several folders on my computer. Probably just hasn't bothered people enough to find your forum, create an account, and report it.

Tried the Beta. It's screaming fast and faster than file explorer too. Thanks!
