At least over here. But I wouldn't call it "trouble".
Hi, don't know what's going on here, but RAW (incl. PEF) work fine here with zoom to fill. Might be I changed something after the latest beta. Please try the next version...

English question: "No frame on cropped sides"??? Or better "No frame at cropped sides" or any other suggestions...?

Invert the option.. "Frame cropped edges"
There's little difference between "edges" and "sides" in this case but it's possible some users may not be expecting "sides" to also apply to the top and bottom edges.
EDIT: Slightly off-topic but I was looking at the Thumbnails config pane...

Is there really a need for the "Thumbnail widths and heights" label? If you want to keep it for the J2S index okay, but the sizes would look better underneath it rather right-aligned.
Even better would be to arrange the labels and controls in a table:
Code: Select all
Size Width Height
#1 32 32
#2 16 16
#3 128 128

Don, on your hover note for "No frame on cropped sides", you should consider expanding it slightly such that it reads, "Applies only if Zoom to fill in enabled and a framed style is selected." or you may be getting even more questions.

"Frame cropped edges" ... nobody will have a clue what this means, but that's also true for my first version.

By inverting the logic we will also have a natural default towards not framing cropped edges, which is good. So, thanks, I take it.
Tooltip: Thanks.

I don't see much gain here, but lots of extra work for lots of translators. So I will leave things as they are.

... uhm, sorry guys, but I think I had weak moment when I added "No frame on cropped sides".
This is bloat. I will remove the setting and default it to ON (you can tweak it off). This also solves the English problems...

RAW (pef) support now works

TaTaTaTaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
After updating to the beta and resetting the thumbs now the .pef-files are cropped and comapcted as well. Thanks.
May I just put a quotation my previous question.
Filehero wrote:Another one: I already have defined a common FWS for all my images (that is, for a folder and all its children). Now I would like to have a second one based on this new feature. How would I toggle them the easiest way?
I'm sure I am missing the obvious.
Cheers,

You mean a FVS with ZTF? Not possible I'm afraid.
But ZTF is not a view, it's a way to create thumbnails. So once they are created and stored in the cache using ZTF, they are shown as ZTF, independently of the current setting of ZTF. You can also have ZTF and non-ZTF thumbs in one view.

Well, I just have reset the caches a few times - brain

, ouch!
Thanks for explaining the obvious.
