Code: Select all
v14.90 - 2015-01-dd hh:mm
+++ Portable Devices: full support!
Hopefully this will raise the spread of XY to another level.

Code: Select all
v14.80.0219 - 2015-01-29 13:03
+ SC timestamp enhanced. Now you can pass a source item whose timestamps are
applied to the target item(s).
Code: Select all
v14.80.0220 - 2015-01-29 18:21
+ SC timestamp enhanced: Now you can pass an additional argument to shift
the target timestamps back or forth in time.
And now you can pass "*" as a self-referential date argument if you just
want to apply time shifts to each item's current timestamps.
Seriously, XY is the only piece of software on Windows capable of doing this with one-liners. *nix has the touch utility, but there's absolutely no windows porting working regardlessly on both files and folders as this XY SC function.

Its not a new feature, but thankworthy nonetheless - that DUAL pane locations are not restricted to fav folders, but also accepted in CTB-dropdown menus and other GoTo features

I have been waiting for this for ages! Thank you! No more unexpected running out of space in the middle of a copy or move process.

Sorry for the full quote, but
Code: Select all
v15.10.0000 - 2015-05-04 21:00
= NEW OFFICIAL RELEASE. Main developments since last release:
+++ Find Files Without Extension. Searching for files with no extension? It's
easy now. Simply search for *. (asterisk-dot).
+++ Toggle Quick Search. A new toolbar button provides a handy way to run the
last search on and off in various locations.
+++ Dropdown Left. Now you can have the address bar's dropdown button on the
left. Might reduce your mouse mileage.
+++ Load Speed. Major load speed increase compared to 15.00 and before.
is quite a major heck of a minor release.
Cheers,
Filehero

I sneaked in one more in the meantime:
Code: Select all
+++ Photo Preview. Now you can show basic photo data in the Floating Preview's
status bar.

Hello?
Strict Syntax Checking for Scripts is not even mentioned?
For me: a big help!
...on coding
new scripts!
Though I don't think I found one in my active scripts
Only false alarms - but they are becomming less and less.

* ListAutoSelectFirst does not overrule "Configuration | Tree and List |
List | Select last used subfolder" anymore.
Thanks, now it's a very useful feature!

I totally agree on this. No one necessarily enjoys going back and correcting syntax "errors" previously not flagged on OLD scripts, but when writing and testing new ones this wil be quite useful. So I'll definitely have Strict Syntax Checking on when testing a new script whether it's mine or someone elses. Thanks.

When 15.10 was published this was still a tweak. I don't highlight tweaks in the release notes...

... but glad you like it.
