I like XYplorer very much, better than Total Commander!
However, I have one problem that XYplorer haven't supported Vietnamese language completely!
When I want to rename a file or folder in Vietnamese, XYplorer automatically convert some characters into `?`, for example: `Biểu mẫu` ⇒ `Bi?u m?u`
Therefore, I cannot manage my files because I often set names of my documents in Vietnamese.
I saw in XYplorer language list that have Vietnamese, but this font is very weird. So, I have to type in another editor like notepad in Windows and then copy-paste into XYplorer.
Please, review this issue to match perfectly with Vietnamese! Thanks

Không được bạn ạ, như mình mô tả, XYplorer luôn chuyển đổi ký tự tiếng Việt, dù có dùng Unikey hay thay đổi kiểu gõ. Nếu được thì bạn có thể show hình ảnh bạn đã sử dụng thành công tiếng Việt unicode như thông thường trên XYplorer, cũng như giải pháp để mọi người cũng tham khảo. Thanks!

Thanks, I did it!

After I set an option "Use Clipboard for send key" in EVkey which I use to type Vietnamese.

I found that the text on menu still is in this problem, not solved.


I had set Vietnamese in Font choosed



Why doesn't XYplorer support Unicode font totally?

The main menu cannot be fixed unfortunately.

But: You can also display the Favorite Folders menu by right-clicking the empty space in the folder tree. This menu will then display the Vietnamese characters correctly.
