I copied two files on that drive from Windows Explorer, and got the following in the log (the bottom two lines are the copied files):

I tried this again this morning, and got slightly different initial results (the "device plugged in/out" lines at the top all seem to occur when waking up from or entering sleep mode, which sometimes has a tendency to make XY lose connection to the NAS -- I sometimes (always?) need to use Windows Explorer to (re-)establish the connection to the NAS. The last two lines are from copying and deleting a file in the root directory of the v: drive on the NAS):

Code: Select all

Does this provide any additional useful information?

Thanks!

Since you are getting ShellNotify events, there should be an auto-refresh. But there is none?

That is correct -- no auto-refresh (and the "suspend auto-refresh" in the view menu continues to be checked always on those drives). Is it possible that something is erroneously triggering that setting, which is preventing the auto-refresh?

There is nothing I can do now. But in the nearer future I plan to rewrite the whole autorefresh system, and I guess that it will take of your issue.

Well, that's unfortunate, but I look forward to the updated version! Thanks for letting me know!
