This is just a tweak for how to draw the frame.
This is the config setting you have to tick:
Configuration | Thumbnails | Zoom to fill

1. FLOATING PREVIEW windowless
2. vertical SCROLLBAR removed
1. Sounds (almost) like MDBU.
2. Sounds like not possible.
1. yes Don, but unlike MDBU, floating preview allows you to comfortably roll the wheel to view the other images.

Just saw that also the Tiles views are affected by the Zoom to fill setting. Uhm, is that desired?

Thanks.
Hmmm...
Thumbs_Spacing_2.png
I must have missed something.
Another one: I already have defined a common FWS for all my images (that is, for a folder and all its children). Now I would like to have a second one based on this new feature. How would I toggle them the easiest way?
Cheers,
Filehero

Really? Not here.

You should do some math to find the proper width for thumbs.

You have to rebuild the thumbs.

Ah, I see. But cannot do anything now.

Isn't clearing the cache sufficient to trigger a rebuild? Anyway I also did
View>Caches>Refresh Thumbnails (I guess that's what you've meant). No change.
I think I got it:
It's the RAW-preview (.pef). When I exported all the raws to jpg (from Lightroom) to a new folder on the same level as the raw one (so the defined FWS should be applied to as well), the rescaling/compact spacing works.

In the same tab, the thumbs view in the raw folder stays the same as already shown.

Okay, I might have improved that, check next beta...

At least over here. But I wouldn't call it "trouble".

Maybe use command line switch /win to adjust the width at startup such that scrollbar is hidden?

And I actually at times think about MDBU (the one that stays up until another click) allows to scroll to other files as well.
