Sync Browse! Thanks so much for implementing this feature. It's a great timesaver when performing moves/renames and other reorganizations on mirrored drives.

Full quote required - yes, that's really another little gem because it makes my weekly visual backup reconcilation a breeze.

Thanks, Don.

Code: Select all

v13.60.0010 - 2014-01-13 21:00
+++ Configuration | Shell Integration: Added option "Show 64-bit
context menu". Tick it to show the 64-bit shell context menu
instead of the 32-bit shell context menu.
I swear, I was going to post a wish about it this morning, but had no time to elaborate. Frankly, I'm believing that Don can read minds...

Finally someone has done it :appl: :appl: :appl:

Big thanks to Mesh and Don!

Breadcrumbs: I didn't think I'd use them that much. Terrific addition! :appl:

Sync Browse: That one I knew I missed (once in a while)... Not anymore!

13.70 - Shell Integration.

Code: Select all

v13.70.0101 - 2014-01-24 22:34
+ Type Ahead Find: Now, when you have a bit of text in the
clipboard, pasting this text into the List will attempt to find,
focus, and highlight the next match, just as if you used Type
      Ahead Find. Cool!
This is absolutely AMAZING! :D
Before, especially typing foreign words, it was easy to choose one wrong letter, thus having to start all over again. Now this idea simplifies the whole process.
Thank you :appl: :appl: (I hope you'll keep it in future versions)

I totally agree!!!

And, Sync Browse came ultra-handy when upgrading to Win 8.1 with my old and my new system disk running in parallel. First time I used Dual Pane and loved it. So it was not in vain.

Code: Select all

v13.70.0122 - 2014-02-08 19:10
+ List | Drives Mode | Tile Views: Added a little eye candy, used disk space
color bars. The color turns red if 90% or more are used.
Finally, yesss!

:D :D :D :D :D :appl:

I knew Windows 8 will have some merits ....

THIS!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!! One of the things I always get annoyed is when finding file names with foreign characters since the're not easy to type. Now this is perfect! Paste-n-Search is just freaking awesome! Especially perfect for on-the-go when I don't have the program Everything with me.

One thing I asked for when I first discovered XYplorer was the ZIP feature.

Thank you Donald.

Should have done this sooner. :(

Code: Select all

    * Branch View: Now the current column layout is preserved when you toggle
from Browse mode to a Branch View.
+ Tweak to inherit Browse mode columns, view, and sort order to the Find
mode (= Search Results listing), analog to the changes to Branch View in
v13.80.0109. Affects Quick Name Search as well as Find Files.
        FindInheritColumns=1
    * Find Files: From now on all patterns are trimmed: leading and trailing
spaces are ignored. This is also done for in a Boolean term, or in a Multi
      Field Search.
    * Find Files: From now on, Extra Tag and Custom Column patterns are NOT
      auto-wildcarded anymore (aka Loose Match).
Don, I must say thank you for these modifications. I know you have developed more revolutionary features lately, but these 4 are worth to mention because they ensure a really smooth workflow. 1 and 2: significantly less column adding and removing. 3 and 4: significantly less wrong result caused by incorrect syntax.

Code: Select all

v11.50.0002 - 2012-08-27 20:46
+++ Duplicate File Finder: Finds duplicate files by name and/or
content in any location. Spotting duplicates, especially those by
content, can be useful for freeing up storage space.
Kudos where it is due. While it is an oldie, it is still a goodie and I managed to find about 40 gigs of duplicate files over the weekend.
