Code: Select all

v11.30.0004 - 2012-06-09 12:02
    * Tried something to load the shell context menu on some Win7
      systems faster.
I would like to say a huge thank you for it! I often use move up and copy from shell menu, but I hated it so much because I had to wait seconds until the menu appeared. Now it's OK! 8)

Code: Select all

v11.30.0005 - 2012-06-10 12:20
+ Custom Event Actions (CEA): Added another custom event, "Middle-
click on a file in the list" (currently only as a tweak).
        [Settings]
        CEA_ListMiddleClickOnFile=0
You can currently choose between the following actions:
0 = Default action (factory default)
1 = Go to File in New Tab
2 = Show File in Floating Preview
3 = Show File in Full Screen Preview
(any other value) = Do nothing
Note that if set to 0 the behavior is controlled by Configuration
      | Extended | Middle-click goes to file in new tab (this option
will become obsolete once CEA_ListMiddleClickOnFile is elevated
      from tweak status).
    * Floating and Full Screen Preview: Now middle-click closes the
      preview.
may seem to be not a big feature, but really adds comfort. thanks Don. :kidding:

Code: Select all

v11.30.0101 - 2012-06-14 14:28
+ Configuration | General: Added option "Show sort headers in all
views". [...] for unknown reasons Microsoft removed this feature in Windows 7.
Now, XYplorer brings it back to Windows 7 and to all other Windows
      versions.
Another great one - big thanks for that! Relief for my first coup de rage migrating to Seven!

Glitch: the additional line expands config window exceeding a netbook 1024x600 in height

I am absolutely delighted. First I had an issue that was rather an overlap of functions instead of a declared, flagrant bug and it was solved almost instantly.

Then I had the surprise of a feature which later turned into a problem as I can't see brightness properly. I was told it was part of the app identity then it was something I couldn't touch, worse: a developer statement this time! Mailed support, received another negative and after some reasoning bang!, I have not only means to configure the way i want it but the possibilities were expanded as now I can have more colors than the previously 4, being primary the irritating-yellow my eyes hate.

It's not that a developer must attend each and every customer's needs but I'm very very happy with today's achievement as it was about to prevent me using this fantastic application. Will tell everyone about it. My deepest thanks to everyone involved!

As noted in other thread, part of the problem was an initial misunderstanding/miscommunication as to exactly what part of the GUI was being referred to and once that was resolved, the issue was able to be handled by Don promptly as normal...but remember, mailing support is the same as posting it here as Don reads both...email is usually only needed to pass him private INI data and/or files that can't be posted here.

Code: Select all

+ Info Panel | Meta: Added "Show All Metadata in Popup" to the
right-click menu. Shows all available metadata (available to the
shell) of the current file. This might be a much longer list than
what's currently shown in the Meta tab.
Note that only fields that have any data are returned, not the
      empty fields.
Hey - that's fine :D

11.30.0110: "text" and "run script" have greater font size? Thanks! More and more I am seeing I'd like options to bold, italic or underline portions on output, colors would be welcome either. But now at least a tiny bit of comfort was added, which I am thankful for! "echo" deserves the same, and a bold option for "status" wouldn't be bad at all.

Hi There! (& back online long enough to write 8) )

Duh, I discovered this thread and I feel really late to the ball  . But among the many things to thank for, I thought I'd pick one of my favorite (underrated) gem which I use pretty much all the time:

Code: Select all

+ Custom Event Actions (CEA): Added another custom event, "Middle-
click on a file in the list" (currently only as a tweak).
        [Settings]
        CEA_ListMiddleClickOnFile=0
        (...)
2 = Show File in Floating Preview
3 = Show File in Full Screen Preview
This one (plus the new "delete previewed files") makes image file management a breeze... So thanks a lot!

Code: Select all

v11.60.0002 - 2012-09-12 13:36
    * Floating and Full Screen Preview: Now, unless "Fit All" is
enabled, the arrow keys (Left, Right, Up, Down) are used for
panning the image by 32 pixel steps. Hold CTRL to pan all the way.
Note that even when an image is not cropped (and no panning can
happen) the arrow keys will not open the next or previous picture
(unless "Fit All" is enabled). Image browsing works
unconditionally with PageDown and Space (Next), and PageUp and
      Shift+Space (Previous)
Don rocks! :D

+++ Tree Path Tracing. Always know your place in the folder tree,
without even consciously looking at the tree. You might get used
to it sooner than you think...
It seemed like a relatively minor addition, but I'm liking it a *lot*. Thanks!
