v27.00.0704, compiled with twinBASIC BETA 803, starts as expected. No doubt that this is a negative example of your new dependence. VB was ancient, but rock frozen, be it for good or bad. You are now in shallow waters, since XY in effect now has two (and more) active developers.

I know what you mean but in this case I actually fixed a bug that I could reproduce. I happened to use 803 for this (which was still on one of my machines) but I doubt it was a factor.

That's actually a very good news! Time to sleep now...

Very excited to try this out (I haven't used XY since 2018 because it was 32-bit only). Running on Windows 11, it starts up for me.

I noticed the buttons are missing on the Configuration dialog, and changes do not persist. Also, the key mnemonics do not work.

1) missing buttons: show the return of Help | Various Information

Very good job, it looks very nice and so far what I needed it works well! Just few founds in Preview Pane of images (CTRL+F11):

loadin preview is slower than in 32 bit for jpg files... visible when you move faster up or down from file to file.
when you using click to zoom in preview pane it lost focus in file list, that does not happen in 32bit.

Also Shift+F11 is not nice fullscreen, desktop is somehow still visible on left and right side.

EDIT: One more point.. I can not access any server via \\servername or \\servername\E$

I dont know if someone already talked about that, im on the 27.00.0605.
the cursor cant click the close, new tab etc...in fact for all this line, the click is not accurate

what should i do?

I happens on every startup.
Nothing displayed but a Window Error report is written.

Probably cosmetic issue. Server name and shared folder name is missing in TB version (letf is VBA, right is TB)

Ok, this x64 version basically works in my VB XY folder
There are problems with drag and drop between the panes.

The Everything search script from Highend no longer works
It returns an empty paper folder.
The content says
'chcp' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file..
