Thank you.

I just changed the highlight to a less burning yellow.

It seems, not all configuration options are searchable.

This one works:
"database"
Shows: Database Check... (Tags)
Means: Go to Tags page and highlight & select the BUTTON "Database Check..."

This doesn't work:
"folder tree"
Shows: No items match your filter
What it should have shown: Folder Tree... (Extended)
From: Page: Extended, BUTTON: "Folder Tree..."

Is there a special reason, why this button (and a few others) isn't found
when I'm searching for it?

There is manual work involved in the categorizing. I might have overlooked a couple of buttons.

I have a few scripts where I direct the user to options that might make the script work better, or differently, and it would be easier to just take them directly there.

Plus, I'd like an alias to quickly and more easily look up command IDs.
Hmmmmmm. Not now. :)

Just to ask: there are several "Apply To..." buttons, but only 1 is found. They could be distinguished by their location.

I had the same feeling but wasn't sure. The list supports type-ahead-find by first letter, which might be desired as well.

Others?

Focusing the filter first makes it more difficult to accidentally select something, which is a good thing in my mind.

I suspect that the chances of a user knowing exactly which first letter matches their desired item is less than those who may find it via the search box since the match there can be to 2nd-n'th word in item...

Like "natural numeric sort order" -- 'sort' in search finds it but how many know it by 'n'atural?

Thus, I believe focus on search box would be better in most cases.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

One minor feature request: If a search leads only to one result, it should open after hitting <Enter> or clicking on "OK" automatically without having to select it first. It's a lot faster for us and easier to point users to specific entries in the config when you just have to write: F9 - Jump to settings - Enter: open command - <Return>

That would mean that OK would sometimes open and sometimes not? I don't know...

Functions depend on context. Everywhere... (at least they should).

Or do you think it's logical that "OK" or <Enter> work as "Cancel" or "<Esc>" in this dialog if you don't select an entry in the list? I don't think that way. A better solution would be: The current first entry in the result list is always highlighted AND executed if you hit <Enter> or click on "OK" regardless how many entries you have. If it's only one: perfect. That's what I suggested. If you have more than one and you don't want to execute the topmost you have to switch to the list pane and select the entry manually (via keyboard / mouse) -> this can happen if you have several entries with the same name (happens mostly on button names: Apply to...). But in 95% of the cases where you're looking for a specific option it's much easier to type what you need and just hit return to get to that setting.
