Now that I've had time to use it more in real life situations it just feels even more awesome. I'm so glad I bought the lifetime pro license, this feels like such a great product with the frequent updates and features.

OK - I feel dumb.
After upgrading - I added the tweak RenameOverwriteNoConfirm=1 to my XYPlorer.ini and I am still getting the confirmation.

I had done all that - but I did it again to make sure and it still asks for confirmation. I have rechecked the ini file and XY version (0020). Does it matter where in the ini file it goes I tried both general and settings sections?

Of course. Let XY write the INI, then open it and
look for the key.

Look for this:
Code: Select all
; Tweak: no overwrite prompt on inline rename
RenameOverwriteNoConfirm=0

I have verified the key is there with tools->open config. I have PM'ed you my ini file for review.

I have =1 not =0. I will try that.
I have tried =0 - same effect.

No no.
1) Look for this:
Code: Select all
; Tweak: no overwrite prompt on inline rename
RenameOverwriteNoConfirm=0
2) Edit it to this:
Code: Select all
; Tweak: no overwrite prompt on inline rename
RenameOverwriteNoConfirm=1
It's all correctly described under the link I posted:
(3) In the editor: Do your editing (look up the tweak key and edit its value), save the tweaked INI
Of course you have to read it...

=0 says, "No Confirm" is *not* active!
The mentioned line is the default - this is what you have to change...
Edit - Don was faster than I

Thanks everyone. Got it.
I **added** the tweak when it was already there. I knew I was going something stupid.
