1. Well, maybe I am misunderstanding something here, but the way I see it the "show icon for thumbs" option should not have any effect for the details-with-thumbs view anyway. But it does.

So there must be an if-statement somewhere... So if you change that if-Statement such that in the future it only applies to all the other thumb modes except details-with-thumbs, then the problem should be fixed.

3. Thanks!

Exactly what I just did!

3. ok you are rhoelzl now.
:o Oh! So that's where 'buggynot' went! You had a bit of an identity crisis, huh?

BTW, when you look at http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/memberlist ... &sk=d&sd=d, our great contributor 'serendipity' used to be 'surrender' but the id wasn't edited that time...

The previous version of phpbb did not allow that I think.... therefore it allowed 2-letter names :)

If there is currently no way to get such a shell context menu, good places to add it would be either when right-clicking a tab, or, as a toolbar button that opens the shell context menu as a drop down menu.
I added this to the address bar icon right click.
Just realised that in the context menu of the address bar icon, the entry "delete" is missing. But it sometimes make sense to delete the currently open folder (let's say you checked out a ZIP file, and don't need the unpack folder anymore). Would be a nice addition.

Something similar applies to the CEA_ListRightClickOnWhite=1 context menu: There delete will be visible, but if you click it XYplorer will say "nothing to delete" since nothing is selected.

1. I mimmicked how it is/was in Explorer (XP).
2. This might be the reason for how it is/was in Explorer (XP). :)

But I guess it won't harm to add it and make it work. :)

2. Not possible, icon size here is controlled by menu height. You might be able to alter this height in general system display settings.
I have just tried that, but as you can see in the screenshot I attached, the Windows menu height seems NOT to be the determining factor for the icon size. So maybe it can be fixed after all?

Oh, and did you restart XY?

OK, restarting does actually change the icon size, you are right.

Still, I don't get it to look good. Well, not a big deal.

Now they are too big? In the next version I limit them to 16x16 max size.

I tried again with today's beta, and the limitation to 16*16 worked. But for some reason the icons still look crappy, see image.

Could it be that you are not using the truecolor/alpha blending versions of the icons, but some color reduced version?

No, I'm using the "slot" for checkmarks for the icons. They are color-inverted when selected hence the crappy effect. This is on my list since long but I give it low priority.

I don't mean the inversion (that's okay with me), but look at the folder icon in the third row.

Please check your color depth. Enter this into the address bar:

Code: Select all

::info;
Desktop color depth: 32?
