I mentioned wanting something like sticky folders not long ago.
This would be a killer feature. After I would not have to name folders like with characters like +,!, or [] (for example) to keep them on top.

A possible work-around is to manually sort, then do a bulk rename, putting 01, 02, 03 at the beginning of each file name.
