I think so. I just tried it again without running ::lognetwork access and I got this.

Both locations
are available?
Another question. Can you reconnect your mapped drives by doing
Tools / Tools Special / Reconnect All Mapped Network Drives?

No. Nothing happens with that menu item. I tried several times.
The
ONLY way (so far) I am able to get access to the mapped drive in XY is. Bring up my old file explorer x2 - navigate to the mapped drive - fill in the windows credentials dialog that pops up then bring up XY and feel the love.

OK, I tried to fix it all!
(But my hopes are tiny...)

WOW! Nice surprise!
Just for the record: Does "Reconnect All Mapped Drives" work now maybe as well?

I just tried "reconnect" (with the drive already mapped

) and nothing happened. I tried disconnect drive - nothing.
I will try after a reboot and see if I get the same results.

Not sure whether this is related or not (could be more related to
http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3575) but below are views of 'My Network Places' in Explorer (top) and XYplorer (bottom):

- web_folders.png (21.33 KiB) Viewed 2152 times

- xy_network.png (6.34 KiB) Viewed 2152 times
As seen, there is some discrepancy between the two views. In Explorer view, the folders under 'My Network Places' are linked to my Active Directory login, so as soon as those credentials are authenticated those folders appear. One is a shared network folder and the other ones (with a globe in icons) are web folders to content on the Sharepoint server. XY's list appears to show only list of machines seeing which doesn't require authentication.

Yep, has always been like this in XY. Same as having MyComputer as top node and Desktop below (Explorer has it vice versa). On both points I'm proud and tough: Who doesn't like this should go to another file manager.

I just tried (by accident) to navigate (from the tree) to an empty CD/DVD drive and I get the "Location Currently Not Available" message in the list. XY then proceeds to propagate the message to all tabs and panes as I click on them or navigate to other folders. The only way to clear it is close XY and restart.
See Admin's reply to my post at top of this page for a screenshot.
On the plus side - Drive mapping is still fantastic!

I wonder how you do that. Can't reproduce.

It must have something to do with w7. I can reproduce this everytime without fail. Is there any other w7 users that can test this.

Ok forget the w7 thing - I just copied my whole XY dir over to my WinXP virtual machine and I get the SAME results. Something in my XY config perhaps. Will keep testing.

It is something with my xy config. I installed a brand spanking new version in my virtual machine and I can't reproduce. I am slowly starting to introduce my config settings to try and reproduce it.

No need I found it after going through all my configs. Lock the tree - bingo everytime.
