Hello,
I don't know if this should be part of the same issue or not. In my case the beta update brought back the folder icons back, however I still have file icons that are white (except exe files). I don't know if it's an issue on my side or if this is related to the Insider W11 updates too.
EDIT: Nevermind, with latest insider that came out today (25188.1000) it is back.

Are you sure it's not my fix in today's v23.50.
0202? You can test yesterday's v23.50.

There's maybe a bit of both.
Here's what happened for me:
* On previous insider versions (before 25188.1000) and with XY before the beta release (23.50.0202) I had white file icons + white folders
* Then I updated to the XY beta (23.50.0202) still on previous insider versions and there I had folders visible but still white file icons
* Then I updated Windows insider to the one of today (25188.1000) and still with XY beta (23.50.0202) and there I have folders + file icons visible
I just tried again with the non beta and icons are visible.
I installed the non beta over the beta one, don't know if it's a good way of doing things and if there's maybe leftovers from the beta?

That should be okay. So they fixed it and I fixed it a bit, too.

Nope, not fixed for me in Beta channel. I'm in W11 22622.586 (Beta channel) and with XYplorer last Beta 23.50.0202 and Folder Icons are fixed indeed (in normal version they were blank) but File Icons are still all blank.

No such problem here with an official Windows 11 version.
Its like a game running insider versions of Windows.
Some time you lose.
Who should support this ?
