Hi-jacking this thread: Today I was testing how the TPT snake would look with circle-shaped nodes instead of squares. And by coincidence I produced a state with neither circles nor squares, and I immediately liked it. What do you think?

In the meantime I came up with a slightly more low key zen version, hope you still like it:

Still like it, but the gaps are more airy.

If no one else replies may I decide?

I just decided for 2 pixel wide gaps. (Note that this is not an option, it's what everybody gets... )

I use narrow tree. Maybe the new design shoudn't be applied to it. I have doubts.

Correct doubts. I remove the gaps from narrow tree.

Set TPTWidth=5, tick "Wide trace". Only one gap remained, at the current folder. Not too nice...

Fix coming.

Nope, seems I disabled them at some time. I like it.
