This is all there is within the startup.ini file.

XYplorer won't accept it, and should default to "C:\Program Files (x86)\XYplorer\Data" (which is not usually writable) .
But how does XY take this as <xydata> path: "C:\Custom Program Settings\XYplorer\" ?
I think you have >= two different XYplorer installations...
But it stops at only seeming to be!PeterH wrote:Maybe it's a typo?
(As the specified path seems to be that of his "Various Information".)
Yes,CookieMonster wrote:I don't know if you guys are having a conversation amongst yourself, or there is something you want me to do ?If there is a question, which I'm guessing is from PeterH, is that question, you want me to look at the lastini.dat file ?

Hm - before Sammay and I talked about your startup.ini: you reportedCookieMonster wrote:The lastini.dat file reads;
Christophers_XYplorer_Settings, that is all !
I said you *might* have had a typo, so that it really was:CookieMonster wrote:This is all there is within the startup.ini file.[Appdata]
C:\program_settings\XYplorer
Is it so that you missed the Path= in that file?[Appdata]
Path=C:\program_settings\XYplorer
In the moment I think it's not in xyplorer.ini, but in C:\program_settings\XYplorer\Christophers_XYplorer_Settings.ini - could you have a look?CookieMonster wrote:It is a custom path that you can do for XYplorer, which you probably already know. Remember lets not loose track of the goal, which is why CEA_ListRightClickONWhite does not list above all the functions up to including, or maybe beyond 6 in my XYplorer.ini file.

Seems to me your xyplorer.ini currently is "redirected" to Christophers version. Then the XY changes will be there, too.
