What if you right-mouse-drag and choose "Shell Context Menu..." from the the context menu, and then Move or Copy from the Shell Context Menu?

Hey, here's a good idea.
ADB is (in my experience) much faster than the mtp protocol. How about allowing those of us with adb to use this instead of mtp to list/browse/transfer/rename/delete files?
like, device plugged in, adb exists in pc (%PATH%). XY asks, "Do you want to use ADB to work with files of this <device>?"

With a little work you could probably configure adb as an external copy handler in XY.

It is too slow to show the contents of my Note 3 which have so many photos..
Besides, the right click|Paste is greyed out eventhough the Paste button works.
Hope it can be fixed or improved.
Thank you.

Back in mid January, I reported here
http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic. ... 05#p116965 that I could transfer files to and from my girlfriend's new Kindle Fire HDX, but I wasn't able to do so with my "older" Kindle Fire. Well I tried it again yesterday and I had complete success. I could transfer books, PDFs, and video files via drag and drop to and from the old Kindle Fire with ease and it was very fast. No big deal right? Well it is. There's a very large number of these tablets out there.
Thanks Don.

What's in the clipboard at that moment?

1) double-clicking or ENTERing on items on a PDA doesn't trigger the default action. Neither PFA or system default. Since PFA is pretty useless there, maybe ctx > Open should trigger.
2) Trying to delete multiple items by keyboard shortcut does nothing. Works from ctx menu (but that's handled by shell).

Do you have delete set to occur in the background? (Configuration > File Operations > Background Processing . Apply to...)

1) No change after after disabling BGprocessing (altogether). I can delete single item with or without bgprocessing.
2) Noted.

I found a rather harsh bug: connect and navigate to a PD location. Hibernate. Wake up. Find XYplorer hanged out to crash.

Puuh, sounds tough to fix. It does not happen here, and it could be caused by more or less anything...

I'll make a note...

when copying-to fails because the PD does not have sufficient free space, deleting files there to regain required space and retrying the copy op
still fails due to insufficient space, until the device is reconnected.

Windows reports wrong free space (does not update) to XY.
