Probably the modification of html command in beta 109 causes an error in the SimpleUpdater. :-(

I received the same message twice in trying to update using SimpleUpdater. I went into the SimpleUpdater.ini file and changed one of the prompt options to "0" (i.e., the one on viewing the beta notes first) since I always look at he beta notes first anyway and it worked. The fact that it updated properly on the third attempt may have been unrelated to my ini file change, but maybe it was since the script with the option set to "0", wouldn't be looking to view the url in that case.

What if SimpleUpdater could rename the downloaded archive into "the Unofficial XYArchive" format, and move it to a user-defined location for easy uploading?

Resolved. Tried this script with a fresh install, had no problem updating. Seems something was wrong in that beta version of XY itself.
Updated my XY manually and now updater is working as expected.
