Scripting it so that it stays current by dynamically generating the menu is very difficult, and even so you'll still be missing some things:

As you correctly pointed out, creating an elegant script for this is currently impossible.
My take on this is: waiting for Don mercy.
I can't play the "you'd be the first"-card because it wouldn't be true. Do you think the "How comes even the guys at Opera did it"-card would be enough?
