1) In Raw View, here's the way I'd likely do it: "Show File Info & Options"..
Given that, as we know, there is more than just the file size...
2) Re date format: Once I found it was the EXIF data, then the rules changed a bit...so I think for consistency with other specialized image viewer (and EXIF viewer) products, keeping the layout fixed as YYYY MM DD is best...just not use the period as delimeter, but semi-colon instead as that seems to be most common...(Picasa uses it as does IrFanView)
However, having it in our own selected date format would definitely also be just fine...whatever you decide...or can we get someone else to chime in first? Jacky/surrender/gandolf/etc?

Well, I know, but this is a weird format for a human to read. Windows' Shell File Properties also convert it to something more normal (if that's relevant for us...surrender wrote:JC is right. I just checked with wikipedia and indeed EXIF uses YYYY MM DD and semicolon as separator. Its best to follow the standards.

Well.. depends what you call standard. I mean, we could also say say XY always uses the Date fomat choosen by the user for its Date Column, as this would most likely be "his" standard, so the less confusing/better for him....surrender wrote:JC is right. I mean Exif standard is YYYY MM DD but doesnt mean XY has to show it that way, just like with the Created/Modifdied/Accessed dates, they're all stored the same but not everyone wanna see them the same

The other minor factor is that Date columns on a list are easier to read (IMO) when they are in user selected format, but this is one stand-alone date field shown for that one item...should you wish to start showing more of the EXIF fields (which ones? Not sure...), then I'd definitely have this field in a format most consistent with the way other "big name" vendors do it.
BTW, Looking at Beta notes, I see you put "Show Infos & Options"...remember that there really is NO plural for Info! It's INFO whether it's one field or hundreds...and I suugested "File Info" to make it clearer that it's different data from the Preview tab...

Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
