I made a note. Use the knob on your speaker or the Windows sound control panel in the meantime.
Reviving this particular wish! :!:
Had a situation where I happened to preview a file and the audio was way too loud and not something I'd like to have heard by those near me (personal conversation)...on laptop, I don't have a speaker knob and getting the Windows sound down took a bit too long...so...having a volume control in the preview panel would be VERY helpful to avoid issues with unexpected audio content/volume!
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

:D Sounds great! I can control it from XY now...however, I'd suggest adding a "Volume:" label to left or above of slider maybe as one only sees that when you hover and a newbie might not spot it as such...

Also, the volume slider is a bit close to the position slider so in a hurry, one may get the wrong one...I'd move it down a bit...

And ...just wondering...is there a particular reason why the slider uses a right-mouse click to adjust instead of more typical left-click/drag? For us who use touch pad as our mouse, right clicks are more of a nuisance, as I can left-click by double tapping pad, but need to use buttons for right.

Yeah I agree, the label could be nice for newbies, and since you have space for it you could move it down a bit maybe...

I agree that the drag would be nice, but it does work for me with both right and left click though

Sorry, I wasn't clear. ...when I referred to right click required, I meant in reference to the position slider...

And due to the closeness vertically, my cursor doesn't change from up arrow back to pointer when going from position slider to volume slider, so knowing which one you're on is hard to tell.. :?

Currently the volume control has the up arrow, too. But I'll change that. Volume sliding is okay, too.

Volume position is a bit difficult, because I need some more space below for previewing audio CDs...

Right-click for position slider... I cannot change that. That's good old XY tradition. But I could additionally offer Ctrl+Click for it!

 I was having one of those "type before thinking" episodes!
DUH! Yes, of course the left-click is used to start/stop playing so you have to use right to adjust pos...that's fine...ignore my prior remarks, ok?

However, from the Help file:
---------------------------------------------------
Mouse actions directly on the progress bar:
Left Mouse Down Start/Pause playing
Right Mouse Down Go to mouse position
Shift+Mouse Down Go to beginning
--------------------------------------------------
Now...is "Down" really the most correct term here? Or is it "Click"? As 'down' sort-of implies moving the mouse in that direction...same issue for Image Preview section in Keyboard Help.

Also, regarding location of slider...a few more vertical pixels might be all it needs to isolate the two sliders...maybe reduce the height of the posistion slider a tad to gain those pixels?

:D Just tried v126! Looking GREAT! That "Vol:" literal will help clarify it; the spacing down also helps; not using the up arrow also helps; and...
having the Ctrl-Click, although something I didn't quite see how it might help at first, DOES make it easier, as I can use my left hand to hold Cntl and use right index for touchpad, which is, to me, preferable to getting my right thumb to the right mouse button! THANKS again!! :!:
