I think that sounds like a good idea!

One question, will the address bar support autocomplete like the address bar in Windows Explorer? That is extremely useful.

Like I told before, i can live without address bar because i use ctrl+g or ctrl+e anyway. Just was suggesting that if you plan to have to have adress bar the grey area next to help shud be the best. but ur latest keyboard access thing sounds cool. you know how to keep everyone happy dont you??

I found that F6 is a de facto standard for moving focus between the main controls (address bar, tree, list). Currently it is assigned to tab home... I think I have to change it. Screams anybody?

And how do you like the wonderful new auto-complete list?? I will add it to Name and Location (Find Files), too...

Very nice! Will it ever support autocompletion of items NOT already in the list? For example, I type C:\ and I get a listing of all directories under C:. Then I continue typing C:\Windows\ and I get a listing of all directories under C:\Windows.

This "anybody" definitely agrees that using as much "standards" as possible make the product more usable more quickly and reduces the chance of error...Yes, in this case, I'd swap out the custom function to a standard one... But that's where using Alt or Shift combos as needed to make/retain a custom function is an alternative.

BTW, That Addr Bar is definitely nice! I'm so used to seeing one up there that having it helps. Thank you!!! 8)

Impossible just takes a LOT longer to code and test!
