For scripters though wouldn't a better approach be to take the list (of recently opened files) and check in advance if the files exist in a foreach loop. We would rebuild and weed out the list (formatlist) so when we click on one of those file entries we've already checked that it exist or it wouldn't be on the displayed list.

A scripter can script that. :)

The List management should have a clean-up function without the need for any script :biggrin:
