OK so I just tried the 64-bit version (by overwriting my current 32-bit version) to check out the new folder select dialog and I ran into a problem a couple of minutes after using it. I have an app (Everything by Void Tools) where I've set its option for opening search result paths in XY when they are double-clicked. In my 32-bit version the paths open in the current XY instance but the XY 64-bit opens the paths in a new instance. I unchecked "Allow multiple instances" in the XY config, saved the settings, and restarted XY but it didn't help. However, that setting is checked in the XY 32-bit config so it doesn't seem that that's the problem anyway. I tried with a fresh version of XY 64-bit and the paths open in the same instance, as they should. Any suggestions for what's causing the issue with my current install would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Inputfolder dialog
Compare the settings (the INI files) and you will find it. Only you can do that.

Re: Inputfolder dialog
Thanks, did that but I didn't "find it". I have no idea what settings might be responsible for what's happening. Guess I'm going to have to just start from fresh and set everything up again.
