Nope.

The recovery menu has disappeared from the 32-bit version as well. It seems there is no other reason other than the Windows KB5094126 update.

Then it's Windows's turn to fix this.

The KB5094126 update fails to install all day long

Just to add that KB5094126 is installed had no issues during installation.
If you a cant install it then that’s probably why you do not see the problem.

In the meantime I've heard about a lot of issues with KB5094126, so it's fortunate that it didn't install. I'll wait for the next update.

Just observing this is an issue for me too, has been missing for a couple of weeks at least. Am on 28.30.0700. So I right click, copy, then paste the file back where it is needed after my erroneous deletion. I am offered to open a previous version, not something I have noticed before, but that is no help. Win 11 Pro 25H2, says Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.315.0

There is no problem with the Windows update.
In my x64 Total Commander the "Restore" option is shown and works without any problems.
So there should be a way to get it in XY.

Pictures are probably helpful; my right click menu is just a little more 'involved', not all of which I particularly need, but the effort to tidy it up... The Restore option was definitely there not so long ago'. Now, the (new) "go to real location" allows the file to be copied, then pasted. So it was a one-step workflow to get stuff back, now it is several.

I can't investigate it until the update installs which it refuses to do.

In the meantime: why don't you just used XYplorer's Undo to restore your erroneous deletions?

It would be pretty unusual to do an accidental delete and NOT use the helpful Undo function.

The issue for me is realising something got deleted three days ago but then finding some other unexpected dependency, or even realise the path I was charging down had a fatal flaw so just need to regroup. 99.99% of files stay deleted because they should, and get milestone-based purges. For the 0.001% of a big number, that still gets a bit of nuisance recovery being needed, before FAT's get overwritten and we need to play forensic games...

I have this problem too since a week or so. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It is incredibly scary.
I currently have a file in my recycle bin and I cannot restore it.

You can always copy (Ctrl+C) or cut (Ctrl+X) and paste (Ctrl+V) files from the recycle bin to any location you want.
