Shekdo Badges is now working [After enabling Overlay Icons in Configuration] :D
-------------------------------------

How can i filter my highlighted folders in the list.

Like we filter any data.

For Eg.

Code: Select all

filter "readme";
shows us all files and folders with "readme" in the list "Browse Mode".

Like that i want to filter my highlighted folders in the list "Browse Mode".

Code: Select all

filter highlight
or

Code: Select all

filter highlight #colorcode
Is this possible.

EDIT : Also searching forums and xywiki for answers.

Current Status

Found Solutions

 Highlight Text Color also like Folder Color Highlight in the Tree Panel.
Can be done via Tools>Config>Color Filters.

 Highlight Folder Icons like Star,Tick,Cross,Alert,Any custom .ico etc . in the Tree Panel
Can be done via Shekdo Badges and Tortoise SVN , by enabling Overlay Icons.
Not able to figure out how to use Tortoise SVN but Shekdo Badges works gr8.

 Drop Menu for Copy Path\Names
Will use the default way to right click on the icon.

 [NEW Toolbar] Custom App launcher Toolbar
Will use the catalogue to launch apps , works fine for me.

-----------------------------------------------------

On The Roadmap

 Vista like Address Bar
Address Bar Delux on Roadmap
Waiting

 Dual panel view
Dual Panel View on Roadmap
Waiting

 Write and Append Data to any file.ext from [clipboard / via input $/ specify in the script in ""]
[Added To Roadmap as this might be on the way]
If this simple method is implemented wud be gr8 , have found out a workaround though.
Workaround is using copytext and then #219 to paste into a file.

-----------------------------------------------------

Still Hoping

 Seperate Rows For Addr , Toolbar and Tabs.
Many ppl feel there is a lot of gray space wasted.

 Get Video FPS in Info Panel> Preview and Video File Tooltip Info along with current info.
Shows Format : fr\sec only for some files not all the files , but i am using Media Info now to get fps
of a video file.

 Setting custom PNG or ICO Icons for Catalogue Scripts
If possible wud be nice , currently we can have text and background colors.

 Folder System in FavFolders and Fav List , currently it stores as one single list , also
to add a separator between entries.

If implemented wud be another gr8 thing.

This is the current update.

You can move that up to "On The Roadmap", as a command writefile (as well as sister readfile) is planned already ;)

Let me add my vote for this one, which has already been talked about in the past BTW, because I was actually gonna suggest maybe something to that effect, like "Menu Caption : script_label : ..\folder\file.ext[,2]" or something, so that we could give some menu items an icon. Because let's face it, icons are much easier/faster to recognize, that's why toolbars are so great, and on many occasion I do wish I could add some icons to items of my script files' menus.

One very simple example: I like to add access to app from XY, and right now I uses User|Open( With) because, yes, icons are added on the menus! It's pretty cool, but it also gets quite crowed when you have different apps for different projects, many times the same app for different use (e.g. WinRAR: Extract Here, Extract Each to Subfolders, etc) and it would be nice to use different menus (easily doable in one single file thanks to load accepting script labels now! :)) only that means we need an actual script file, and then we loose all icons

Plus, if the path to the icon to use is like so on script file, it means it could also work on Catalog item (w/ only one (visible) script), instead of having the default script icon!

First, this not SMS/IM/Text msg so why use "gr8" and such here, ok? Yes, on occasion, we do abbrev some things, but not that way.

Second, as I/we have explained already, the Fav Folders/Files is the predecessor to the Catalog so that is and will be the method which supports a folder system...We had to convince Don to keep Fav Folders/Files (http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2457)so I don't see any future changes in that area, and I'm not sure what you mean by a separator because you've been told how to put a separator between entries at least twice.

Yup, please read our posts before posting, adding separators has been explained already.
serendipity wrote:...if you navigate to menu "Tools | List management | Favorite folders" and click on new and enter -, then you will see a separator when you access it from menu "Favorites | favorite folders".

I am sorry about abbreviated text will keep that in mind.

Regarding favorite i am sorry to repeat that part, I got the idea about the new catalogue implementation and that u had to convince Don to keep favorites. Also got the seperator part for fav. I only have to insert a '-' for a seperator.

I some times surf from my cellphone so use abbr. but point noted.
